Family assistance is now called Working for Families Tax Credits. But although the name has changed, your entitlements haven't. There's no need to apply for Working for Families Tax Credits - you'll carry on getting the same payments, unless your personal situation changes.
The new name is being phased in, so you may see family assistance being used for a while yet.
