Find out how you can check your loan balance.
You can check your loan balance online anytime by logging into your secure online services account. Once you're logged in, you'll be able to see your current loan balance, repayments, interest charges and/or write-offs.
Your student loan statements
Your loan balance is also shown on your student loan statements which you'll receive automatically twice a year (in May and October) as long as your contact details are up-to-date.
If you'd like a statement at any other time, you can:
- request a statement online, or
- order one through our self service line by ringing 0800 257 777
To request a statement, you'll need to have your IRD number handy.
