Deadline for first-year Fees Free is fast approaching

Learners have until 31 December 2025 to declare their eligibility or to lodge an appeal for first-year Fees Free with the Tertiary Education Commission.  

After this deadline, you will no longer be able to claim first-year Fees Free or appeal your entitlement.

Can I get final-year Fees Free?

If you don’t receive first-year Fees Free, you may still be eligible for final-year Fees Free. It depends on the type of study or work-based learning you did, when it was done, and how much you completed.
