Totalisator duty is payable by the Racing Industry Transition Agency. There is a 1.33% totalisator duty on betting profits for all racing and sports betting. The Racing Industry Transition Agency also pays a problem gambling levy on all profits.
From 1 July 2021 the totalisator duty will be 0% but the problem gambling levy is still payable.
Returns and payments are due by the 20th of the month after the period the duty applies to.
