Before you start
You'll need your:
- IRD number
- contact details
- bank account details
- start date as an IR56 worker
- business industry classification (BIC) code.
After logging in to myIR, select 'I want to...'
Under 'Registration, application and enrolment' select 'Register as an Employer (EMP) or IR56 worker'
Select 'Employer (EMP) and IR56 taxpayer registration'
Follow the prompts to complete your registration.
Log in to myIR
If you would prefer you can download the IR359 form, complete it and send it back to us.
Contact us if you need any help with your registration.
What happens next
Once we have received your registration we'll send you an Employer information - IR348 form and a New employee and KiwiSaver details - IR346K form.
