Working for Families and paid parental leave payments – Labour Day

You’ll get your weekly or fortnightly Working for Families (WfF) payment on your usual day even though Monday is a public holiday.

If you receive weekly or fortnightly WfF, the payment dates remain Tuesday 27 or Wednesday 28 October.

Depending on your bank, the time of day you receive your payment may not be the same. You might see in myIR that the processed date is showing as different to the dates we’ve outlined above. However, this does not change the payment date.

Paid parental leave is not affected, the next fortnightly payment is Tuesday 3 or Wednesday 4 November.
