In June, we advised that we are making a change to how taxpayer ruling and determination applications are submitted.
From 14 September, all private, product and status ruling applications must be submitted in myIR. This also applies to financial arrangement and depreciation determinations.
The application process is changing, but there will be no changes to the information required or the legislative process to support the application.
After the drop-in sessions, we prepared a list of questions that were raised in the sessions in correspondence and discussions.

To help you prepare, the Tax Counsel Office will be running a demonstration of the new tax ruling and determinations application process in myIR.
