Planned system outage - 12 September 2026 | Our online services including myIR, self service phone lines and gateway services will be unavailable on Saturday 12 September, 2026 from 1pm to approximately 10.30pm while we complete a planned system update. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

You play an important role in supporting clients with overdue debt, by encouraging them to contact us early to discuss their options.

Full payment is preferred, but clients who have difficulty meeting their obligations may be able to set up an instalment arrangement using the self-service option in myIR.

Keeping customer contact details up to date

You can also help by checking that client addresses are current and valid. To update an address in myIR, select Access client > I want to... > Manage names and addresses > Addresses.

To update an address at customer level you need a customer master link. Without this you must update each account separately. Tax agents cannot update a client's email address or phone number. Clients must update these in their myIR account or by contacting us through our usual service channels.

We've also noticed that in some cases, a tax agent's contact details are recorded on the client's account.

Accurate contact details help ensure clients receive important correspondence and that we can contact them once the tax agent linking may end.

Thank you for your support in helping keep client information current.
