Fees Free helps with the cost of tertiary study or work-based learning by paying back some of your fees after you complete your 1st eligible qualification or programme.
Act now if you completed in 2025
If you completed an eligible qualification or programme in 2025, you must apply by 31 December 2026.
Do not leave it until the last minute. If you miss the deadline, you will not be able to get Fees Free.

- Apply in myIR when your completion is confirmed.
- Make sure your details are correct so we can process your application.
- Send us a message in myIR if you need help.
Completing in 2026
If you complete an eligible qualification or programme in 2026, you must apply within 12 months of the date you complete.
