We’re continuing to update the way you register business tax accounts in myIR by separating them into logical groups.

We’ve already separated:

  • international exchange accounts (CBC, DPI, FATCA, CRS)
  • withholding tax accounts (AIL, RWT, NRT, IPS).

These are now available in the Intermediary Centre under “client registration”.

We’re continuing this approach in phases.

From 15 July 2026, these accounts will be separated:

  • FBT – fringe benefit tax
  • PIE – portfolio investment entity
  • GMD – gaming machine duty
  • OGD – online gambling duty.

From 12 September 2026, these accounts will be separated:

  • EMP – employer tax
  • GST – goods and services tax.

Once these accounts are separated, if you register on behalf of clients, they will no longer be available at the client level under “I want to…”

They will be available in the Intermediary Centre under “client registration”.
