We update the net Inland Revenue GST statistics data annually using Inland Revenue administrative data. The statistics do not include GST collected by the New Zealand Customs Service.
How we organise the data
The Excel spreadsheet has notes that give important background or technical information. The second tab contains charts included on the website. The third tab has tables and raw data going back to 2001.
Files to download
The spreadsheet includes new data for the tax year ending March 2026. The data for other years may not match what we published at the time. Only our most up-to-date information is available for download.
