By 30 June following the end of the tax year, Reporting New Zealand financial institutions (Reporting NZFIs) and trustees of trustee-documented trusts must report to us in myIR.
We cannot provide extensions to the reporting due date. It's important New Zealand meets its international obligations.
Frequency and reporting format
You must report:
- annually for each tax year ending 31 March
- on or before 30 June
- using the OECD CRS schema.
