Cancel an ongoing direct debit for child support

You can cancel an ongoing child support direct debit payment at any time in myIR.

Before you start

Log in to your myIR account.

Go to the account summary page for liable parent

From here, there are 2 ways you can cancel your ongoing direct debit. You can either select 'Make a payment' or 'More...' then 'Make a payment' from your liable parent account.

Select 'View ongoing direct debit details'

This can be found under the heading 'Payments, refunds and returns'.

Select 'Cancel payments'

This is at the top right of the 'Ongoing direct debit details' panel.

Click ‘yes’ when prompted to complete the cancellation.
