Legal Services
Legal Services provide tax technical and legal support to Inland Revenue. They're part of Customer and Compliance Services – Business.
Their job is to support the integrity of the tax system and tax compliance by:
- providing Inland Revenue with advice and support services to help resolve complex tax issues, including social policy
- litigating and prosecuting where enforcement is necessary
- representing Inland Revenue to identify and resolve issues arising from new legislation, court cases and tax disputes.
