Changing my KiwiSaver contribution rate

You can change your contribution rate through your employer, myIR account or KiwiSaver provider.

Who

Anyone wishing to change their KiwiSaver contribution rate.

When

Contribution rates can be changed once every 3 months, unless your employer agrees to a shorter timeframe.

You can apply for a temporary rate reduction or change your KiwiSaver contribution rate to 3%, 4%, 6%, 8% or 10%.
