How to file an IR3 individual income tax return in myIR

Follow these steps to help you complete your IR3 return in myIR.

In myIR go to your income tax account

Select 'Returns and transactions', then from the Returns tab choose 'File now' for the period you want.
Select 'More…', then choose 'File or amend a return', and select 'File now' for the period you want.

Enter the required information. Any details you’ve already told us about (for example, self-employment) will be pre-selected.

If you need to make a payment, you can choose to pay by direct debit.
