Working for Families overview Working for Families payments help you with the costs of raising your family.
Payment options You can choose to get your Working for Families payments weekly or fortnightly, or in a lump sum after the end of the tax year (31 March).
Working out your family income When we work out your Working for Families payments, we take into account your family income, which is your income and your partner’s income added together, plus or minus any adjustments.
Working for Families and MSD If you get a main benefit from MSD, in some cases you can choose to get Working for Families from MSD or Inland Revenue.
