You may have been locked out if you have attempted to log in 3 times with incorrect details. If this is the case, you will need to wait 15 minutes to log in again.

If you cannot remember your correct details, reset your username and password.

Before you start

You will need your IRD number and email address.

First, reset your username

Go to the myIR login page and select 'Forgot user IR or password?' 

Select 'Forgot username'. 

Enter your IRD number and verify your email address.

Reset your username from the link we send you

You can then reset your password. 

Go to the myIR login page. Select ‘Forgot user ID or password?’ 

Enter your myIR logon (also known as an ID, username or login) and email address. 

Reset your password from the link we send you. 

Reset your password in myIR

In myIR select 'Manage my profile' then the 'Security' tab.

Update your password.
