Online marketplaces need a Digital Platform Information (DPI) account before they can report information to us. Follow these steps to register.
Before you start
Before you register for DPI, make sure you’re an online marketplace and required to report to us.
You’ll also need an IRD number.
In myIR, select 'I want to...'
Or if you’re a tax agent, go to the Intermediary Centre.
Register for a myIR account if you do not have one already.
Select 'Registration, application and enrolment'
Select 'Register for an international exchange of information account'
Select 'Register for Digital Platform Information (DPI)'
Fill in your details
Submit your registration
Log in to myIR
What happens next
We’ll process your registration and notify you in myIR. Then, you can begin reporting.
Your responsibilities
You need to complete due diligence checks on the information you report and provide all reportable information to us.
