Some services unavailable 16 - 17 November | myIR, gateway services and our self-service phone line will not be available from 3pm Saturday 16 November to 9am Sunday 17 November while we do planned system testing. This will not affect any tax entitlements or payments scheduled during this time.

We have identified clients of tax agents whose 2022 income tax returns have not yet been filed and late filing penalties have been applied to their accounts.

Because we moved the return policing date for these clients to 31 May 2023 - we will not remove the extension of time (EOT) to file their 2023 return.

We will shortly send letters directly to these clients advising that they need to file their return as soon as possible. The letters will not follow the tax agent redirect. This is in line with the EOT withdrawal letter they would have received if we had not moved return policing.
