Changes to the myIR login screen are coming You will not be able to use myIR between 1pm Saturday 8 October and 8am Monday 10 October. This is so we can update our external authentication system. From Monday 10 October the myIR login page will have a new look and feel, but the login process will not change.

Payroll bureaus act on their client's behalf for payroll, PAYE and related taxes. 

A payroll bureau must have a myIR account.

The clients of a payroll bureau can be individuals or entities.

You can register as 1 or more type of intermediary

If you meet the requirements, you can register as more than 1 type of intermediary.

For example, ABC Accounts is a registered tax agent but also meets the requirements to register as a payroll bureau. ABC Accounts have clients they only offer payroll and related tax services to, who are linked to a different tax agent for some tax types. ABC Accounts registers as a payroll bureau in order to be able to link to the clients’ accounts without impacting the tax agent link.
