2023 claims for R&D tax incentive and R&D loss tax credit

Income tax returns for 2023 for clients linked to a tax agent with an extension of time were due by 31 March 2024. As the due date was over Easter weekend, returns filed from 29 March to 2 April 2024 were treated as having been received in time.

The final date to submit a claim for both the research and development tax incentive (RDTI) and research and development loss tax credit (RDLTC) is 30 April 2024. We cannot accept late claims.
