The new panel is to make client debt with us more visible.
Key features include:
- Active instalment arrangements: Easier to see if a client is under an instalment arrangement. Displays the upcoming payment due based on the agreed payment schedule.
- Deduction notices: Show active deduction notices issued to a client’s bank or employer.
- Collection panel view: The collection panel now appears as the first panel under the Summary tab when viewing a client in myIR. To see the panel, you must have the customer master link. You’ll then be able to view account level information based on your access and permissions, and the account types you’re authorised for.
- Debt summary: A comprehensive overview of all items included in a collections case. With the customer master link you can see the full list of bill items within the summary. However, you can only act on the account types you are specifically linked to.
Relevant insights
Your client will have a different view as they may have a link to accept or decline a pre-approved arrangement.
A client may have more than 1 active arrangement at any given time – to help them get back to on time filing and paying. If their limit is exceeded, the link to request an instalment arrangement will not appear.
Any missed bill items in our system will create a collections case and be visible in the collections panel.
Access is not controlled by subscriptions.
The panel will appear for any debit balance of $0.01 or more.
