Budget 2024: The Government has announced FamilyBoost, a proposed new childcare payment to help eligible families with the rising costs of Early Childhood Education (ECE). Find out more: Beehive.govt.nz

As part of our recent weather events response, we did not issue letters to customers who may have missed their 2022 terminal tax payment - due on 7 February 2023.

From 3 April 2023, we'll start issuing 'overdue payment warning' letters to customers with 2022 terminal tax outstanding.

The letter will be issued for clients who do not have your agency's extension of time (EOT), and their tax remains outstanding.

We'll send the letter directly to your client. If you have a client with the income tax mail redirect, you will also receive it.

We understand that some clients affected by the recent weather events may not be up to date with their tax affairs. We have a range of relief options to help them manage.
