The environmental restoration scheme is used as some business activities cause environmental damage. It allows businesses to set aside money to cover future environmental restoration costs.

  • Testing
  • Construction
  • Restoration
  • Monitoring
  • Dredging, if your main reason is to fix or reduce environmental damage from a discharged contaminant.

Activities that are not included

The following activities do not qualify for the scheme.

  • Reclaiming land.
  • Dredging, unless your main reason is to fix or reduce environmental damage from a discharged contaminant.
