We recommend using the ‘Pay tax’ or ‘Pay IRD’ function provided by most New Zealand banks. This pre-populates our bank account number.

Pay using your bank's internet banking service or mobile app
In your bank’s internet banking service or mobile app, go to Pay and Transfer (or similar, depending on your bank). Select the Pay Tax option (or similar) and follow the onscreen prompts.
You’ll need the following information:
- Your IRD number
- Tax or payment type
- Period ending (for payments that require this)

Choosing the right account type
Direct credit details
Use the following details when making a direct credit payment to us.

Particulars | Your IRD number. If you have an 8-digit IRD number, put a 0 at the beginning. |
Payment code |
Account and (space) time period (DDMMYYYY). For example: INC 31032016 Leave out the time period for ARR, COL, KSS, LGL, NCP, RUL, SBC and FTR. |
