Budget 2024: The Government has announced FamilyBoost, a proposed new childcare payment to help eligible families with the rising costs of Early Childhood Education (ECE). Find out more:

  • As at 30 June 2021, automatic individual income tax assessments have refunded $455 million to New Zealanders. Of these refunds 90% went to customers earning $70,000 or less.

  • We developed policy and helped pass legislation for the new top personal income tax rate and property tax changes.
  • We launched a policy for flexible working arrangements.
  • 95% of contributions from KiwiSaver members were passed to the scheme’s providers in 2 days.
  • We developed a body of research to inform our services for Māori and our commitment as a partner in the Māori-Crown relationship.
