Income tax Dates
If you file your IR8 online through myIR, the Māori authority credit account return - IR8J will be included as part of your IR8 income tax return.
Before you start
You will need:
- the Māori authority name, contact details and IRD number
- opening balance at 1 April
- credits details
- debits details.
In myIR, fill in and submit the return
You can use the guide to help you complete the return.
Log in to myIR
Go to 'Returns and transactions' in your Income tax account then 'File return'.
If you do not have myIR, you can complete the paper form, sign it and send it to:
