New arrivals to New Zealand - having trouble verifying your identity
If you've tried to get an IRD number as a 'new arrival' but it did not work, you'll need to apply for one in a different way. Depending on your situation, you'll need to apply either as:
- 'living in New Zealand and not a new arrival'
- 'living overseas'.
