Ngā tauanga tāke ā-rohe Regional tax statistics

This section provides a breakdown of Inland Revenue's administrative data by the sixteen regional councils, 67 territorial authorities and by local board level for Auckland.

The categories included in this data are:

• Definitions - a breakdown of the definitions of terms such as "customer", "individuals", and "business individuals".
• All customers - this section includes regional break-downs for different customer categories, such as "registered customers", "individuals", and "individuals aged 16 or over".
• Dollar values - this information includes regional break-downs for variables such as overall sales and income and debt values, broken down by tax type.

Also included are categories for individuals and non-individual entities. The tables present the data as percentages of appropriate columns in the "Customers" table.

All data covers the period from 1 April 2015 to 31 March 2016.

The customer locations data is correct as at 31 March 2016.

Tax values are effective for June 2017 as tax can be filed and paid after the tax year it relates to.
