If you've been nominated to act on someone's behalf, for example as a tax agent, follow these steps to access their account in myIR.
Before you start
Make sure the other person has properly set you up to act as their nominated person.
In myIR, go to 'I want to...'
Select 'Manage associated accounts/parties'
Select 'View or edit' beside the client you want access from
This page shows all the clients you are a nominated person for.
Select 'Get account access'
Select the checkbox beside the accounts you want access to
Confirm and submit
Log in to myIR
What happens next
When you go back to your myIR home page, the new account will be available for the person who nominated you.
If that person also has a myIR account, we'll email them to let them know that you have access to their account.
