We have a number of options for helping you with your student loan repayment.

Student loan repayments

There are ways we can help if you have a student loan.

  • If you are self-employed, you can apply to have your student loan assessment reduced.
  • If you are an employee, you can apply to lower deductions from your salary or wages.
  • If you are studying full-time and earning under the annual repayment threshold, you can apply for a repayment exemption.

These 3 options are available in myIR.

You may also be able to ask for an instalment arrangement or apply for financial relief. Find out more on the page below.
